Sensex, Nifty 50 rise on hopes of US-Iran ceasefire plan, rupee gains

The 30-share S&P BSE Sensex rose 1.07% to 74,106.85 even as the NSE Nifty 50 gained 1.12% to 22,968.25, after falling as much as 0.7% and 0.8% during the day.
